Corbyn Nchako

“I always knew that I wanted to help heal people, so being a physician has always been my primary focus. However, when I began conducting biomedical research in college I realized how important a research scientist’s mindset and approach to scientific problem solving would be to my skills as a physician.”

Corbyn Nchako may be in med school at Saint Louis University now, but he will always be a #ScioNY. At Rockefeller, Corbyn was research assistant in the Brivanlou Lab. He looked at the molecular mechanisms underlying embryonic stem cell differentiation and early human development. When not in the lab, he spends time volunteering and playing soccer (the real football).
